WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF COOKIES?

A cookie contains information that links a browser (user) to a specific web server (website). If the browser accesses that web server again, it can read the previously stored information and respond accordingly. Cookies ensure users have a pleasant browsing experience and support the efforts of many websites to offer comfortable services: e.g., online privacy preferences, language settings, shopping carts, or relevant advertising.

WHAT IS THE LIFESPAN OF A COOKIE?

Cookies are managed by web servers. Their lifespan can vary significantly depending on their purpose. Some cookies are only used for a single session and are not retained after the user leaves the website. Others are retained and reused whenever the user returns to that website. Users can delete cookies at any time through their browser settings.

WHAT ARE THIRD-PARTY COOKIES?

WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?
